Treatment
The purpose of therapy is to address anxiety, depression, and the overall dissatisfaction we experience when things are not going our way. Several therapeutic approaches are used to identify problematic areas in life, and to break old patterns of thinking and responding.
Clinical hypnosis, if desired, can be used as an adjunct to therapy.
Clinical hypnosis can be used to address chronic pain and other ongoing health issues
Why?
We all deserve the opportunity to be happy, to enjoy life, to accomplish things we dreamed about when we were kids.
The things we go through in life shape how we experience the world. It can make us cynical, jaded, and cause us to withdraw from the world. Our experiences can cause us to live in a constant state of panic, or leave us with barely enough energy to get out of bed.
Treatment, the process of talking it out can lead to insights and changes in how we view and experience the world.
Goals
The goal of therapy is to get better. To to be free from the thoughts and worries that plague us throughout the day. To be able to experience happiness, and to see the good in the world.
Goals are identified early in treatment, and progress towards those goals is evaluated regularly.
Time is precious, and it is constantly rolling. Treatment is not intended to be forever. The purpose of treatment is to identify what needs to be fixed, fix the thing that needs fixing, and to send you on your way. It really is that simple
Life is awesome, and the goal is for you to enjoy it.
